setiahills

setiahills was conceptualized as a spa villa hotel and then packaged for sale as homes. this is in contrast to the conventional approach by housing developers to sell standard houses hoping that they will eventually be turned into a tropical resort paradise as per their marketing brochures. the dna for setiahills was thus established from the basic module of the boutique hotel spa villa with private pool and walled enclosures for privacy. this became the basic dna building block from which the other rooms and spaces of each house would be built around. articulate house siting to minimize earth-cutting whilst maximizing views, sun, wind patterns and privacy helped bring the resort together. this cluster of 45 resort homes built up from the dna of spa villas with private individual pools are then twined together by a network of landscaping, artwork walls, gates and meandering roads.
